Dr. José Luís Arco Tirado
Prof. Dr. Jose L. Arco [jlarco@ugr.es]He got his degree in psychology in 1991, did some postgraduate courses at the University of New Mexico (USA) during the academic year of 94/95. He got Doctor in psychology in 1997, with a thesis on the evaluation of public drug prevention programs. He has work experience in the field of addictions, special education, counselling, and public program evaluation. He began to work as professor at the University of Granada (Spain) back in 1998. Between 2000/2001 he worked as a visiting professor at the University of Montclair (New Jersey, USA). He has been director of the Counseling services at the U. of Granada for 7 years. Hi has published about ten book´s chapters and about a dozen of articles on national and international journals, indexed on the main data bases. His current research interest and projects are focused on Counselling, Peer tutoring, Service-Learning and Civic Engagement. . University of Granada. PDF presentation: high res | low res

PDF presentationMr. Hans-Werner Rückert Hans-Werner Rückert got his degree in psychology in 1977 and specialized as a clinical psychologist. He initially trained as a Rogerian therapist and became an Associate Fellow of the Albert-Ellis-Institute for Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy in New York in 1982. Since 1994, Rückert is Director of the Academic Advisory Service and Counseling Center of the Freie Universität in Berlin, Germany. He has published extensivly on topics like counseling and psychotherapy for students, qualifications and training of counselors, the implementation of the Bologna process in Germany, and – following a special research and treatment interest - has published various articles and two books on procrastination. In 2009, he was elected President of FEDORA, the Forum Européen de l’Orientation Académique/European Forum on Student Guidance.. Freie Universität Berlin
